This is my very first post since joining this wonderful blog.
I loved the concept the moment Sandra Orchard told me about it.
A Christian blog, from Christian writers around the world.
I’m so happy to be a part of it!
Does anyone else read “In Touch,” a magazine by Dr. Charles
F. Stanley?
I thought I would share an excerpt from one of the articles in his
August 2012 issue titled, the HEIGHT of GODLINESS. Essentially, it outlines how to grow as a
Christian. And one of the ways it mentions, is to share your spirituality, just
as we are doing here.
“We all need a few Christian
friends with whom we can openly share our struggles, heartaches, and good
times, too (Rom. 12:15). As God pours
His life into yours through the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit. He wants you to
let it flow on to others. You can’t live like an island and expect to grow in
the Lord. Christ has designed His body to be connected- helping, supporting,
and praying for each other. But if you receive and never give, you’ll become
stagnant and stop growing.”
I believe that is what we have chosen to do as Christian
writers, and it is what this blog represents to me.
Thank you all for welcoming
me here!
And congratulations and thanks to all of you, writers and readers
alike, who share so much of yourselves!
Blessings,
