“No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them.” Joshua 1:5-6 With these words, God asks courage from Joshua and promises him success.
God always equips his people when He calls them to do impossible tasks. He promises that He will never leave or forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5) And that promise is for you.
Read the following verse and be encouraged with Isaiah that you don’t have to walk this journey alone.
“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” Isaiah 12:2

Thank you for the encouraging word. As a writer doubt can be so crippling. We need to constantly remind ourselves who is in control. It is far easier to be courageous when God is leading us.

Well said, Cindy! Doubt really can stop us from reaching what sometimes seems impossible, letting Him lead changes everything. Be blessed today!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this, Lisa. You're so right. We all face times like this. I've seen a number of "impossible" situations becoming possible with God, and it's exciting. I just have to keep reminding myself of these times when things get tough.
