Thanks, friend, so very much for your encouragement and kind heart!Jennifer Rogers Spinolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15741501564233758824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4620199782689299940.post-37045516930439938632012-08-24T10:42:14.402-07:002012-08-24T10:42:14.402-07:00Elise - I love what you wrote: "Writing shoul...Elise - I love what you wrote: "Writing should be divinely inspired and led as well." I really believe you. While I know we have the responsibility of honing our skills and practicing our craft to make it the best it can be, I've seen clearly in my life that unless God gives a story and sets it into motion in my life, I just can't seem to do it. My whole "Sushi" series was a divine answer to prayer when I began praying for new and friesh ideas, and it just came out of the blue. We need to be at peace with what God gives us, and when, and relish the quiet "growing" times as well. Thank you, Elise!Jennifer Rogers Spinolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15741501564233758824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4620199782689299940.post-74263815822035216122012-08-24T10:39:09.763-07:002012-08-24T10:39:09.763-07:00Dale - thank you so much! But if I look back, there were patches where I didn't write as much, and when I finally came back to it, I was full of ideas. Maybe that's just what we all need sometimes--a rest. Thanks, Dale. :)Jennifer Rogers Spinolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15741501564233758824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4620199782689299940.post-5253092520959556312012-08-22T15:40:26.323-07:002012-08-22T15:40:26.323-07:00The writing won't vanish. I am doing extra calls of duty for the purpose of ministry and personal ministry. On top of that, I keep getting myself into taking on other people's burdens to the point that my joy is tapped out. I know that this has been a time for my most productivity and growth in God spiritually as well as naturally knowing that this comes with a price to abound in every good work. I write seasonally based on how the Holy Ghost leads me to write and when he stops writing, so do I until he tells me to pick it back up again. Writing should be divinely inspired and led as well.
