There are indie authors who do a great job at marketing but when you actually read a sample of their work you can't help but feel disappointed and wish they had put more effort into writing a great story. Enjoy your traveling and weaving your unique life experiences and exotic locations into your stories :)Narellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07665380446283721576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4620199782689299940.post-72614062762054869422012-10-31T04:56:16.030-07:002012-10-31T04:56:16.030-07:00It is so true that our writing reflects our lives....It is so true that our writing reflects our lives. You globe-trotting life intrigues me. On the other hand, I currently live a scant 60 miles from where I was born. While I have traveled from coast-to-coast in the USA, it was with a specific destination in mind and a strictured time frame. At a recent conference I had editors/agents intrigued by my "voice" and when I looked at it I realized most of it was because words and phrases I thought were in international common usage were Kiwi-isms!Kara Isaachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00482245933455012714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4620199782689299940.post-55191428843061574422012-10-30T20:13:49.240-07:002012-10-30T20:13:49.240-07:00What a marvellous post Grace. I am tempted to try my unpubped books that way. But first I'd need a l-o-t of help from my friends! Happy travelling. Rita Galiehhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14586506137798711397noreply@blogger.com
