How they think they can write without being readers, is more than I can understand.LeAnne Hardyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11433010038077925237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4620199782689299940.post-86135880779487568382015-05-07T05:41:57.705-07:002015-05-07T05:41:57.705-07:00Brilliant post. It's funny how people assume that simply writing fiction doesn't take any particular skill. The money assumption is a good one too. People hear about JKR and her millions and imagine that's what an author may expect.

Good on you for getting back to fiction and hope you have fun.Paula Vincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02079952414990463270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4620199782689299940.post-5502229161600032102015-05-06T19:12:03.011-07:002015-05-06T19:12:03.011-07:00G'day David, great to have you on the blog.

I like your analogy of Jimi Hendrix and music, a greta way of looking at it.

I actually find writing the hardest thing I've done (other than parent) but that's also where the joy comes.

Wishing you all the best with your novel. Keen to read it when you're done.Ian Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00192687613923596829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4620199782689299940.post-6072364918869569252015-05-06T15:13:49.118-07:002015-05-06T15:13:49.118-07:00Love it! I've never heard that analogy before and it makes it seem a rarer occurrence than having a baby :-) Godspeed as you work on your novel (and become rich and famous, of course!)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00455806643846195922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4620199782689299940.post-75522708109579025392015-05-06T14:56:50.331-07:002015-05-06T14:56:50.331-07:00Somehow everyone in my family knows about the mone...Somehow everyone in my family knows about the money myth.
